Right, we’re up to Day 23 of the 30 Day challenge – here goes:
Write a letter to your teenage self
Honestly, you’re a pretty good teenager. You work hard, you get good grades at school, you have a fab circle of friends, you don’t drink (much), you don’t smoke, you don’t give your mum a hard time. Not to give you too much of a big head, but you’re a pretty sensible teenager.
If I could give you one piece of advice it would be to have more fun. Don’t take life so seriously. Take opportunities to do new things when they are offered to you. Go and explore the world, travel, make memories, don’t worry too much about school and your job and rushing into finding a boyfriend (although, the boy you meet at 17 is pretty cool, so hang on to him 😉 ). It will all work out. Life is for living, so don’t try and rush through to become an adult (it’s not that fun!)
I’m finding this really hard to write, as I don’t have any regrets as a teenager! I lived my life as I wanted to, I was sensible but that’s who I am, even now. So I may need to fail at this post, and just say that I was a pretty awesome teenager haha
Come back tomorrow for my attempt at another letter to my future self!
