With only 3 weekends left until Christmas, you’ll notice my Times To Treasure posts are going to get a lot more festive.
Saturday was a pretty busy day. We decided we were going to put up our Christmas decorations. Some may think it’s too early, but it’s become a bit of a tradition to do it the weekend after Craig’s birthday. So the morning was spent up in the loft getting all the decs down.
We then went down to a local Christmas craft fayre. I missed it last year but heard it was very good so really wanted to go this year. There were so many great stalls there selling all kinds of different stuff. Lots of Christmas gifts and decorations and also more unusual stalls. There was one stall selling alcohol bottles that had been melted and made into clocks which I thought were great! My sister in law was there selling her awesome products from Crafty Creations and my sister was next to her selling her brilliant sweetie creations from Candy’n’Crumbs.
Alfie also got to meet Skye from Paw Patrol! He’s recently got into the show and when he spotted her in the distance he got very excited. However, as soon as she got close to him, he freaked out! Really wasn’t impressed! And then as we were walking round the fayre, we kept bumping into her and Alfie really wasn’t keen.
We then spent the afternoon putting up the decs and my friend visited us for a few hours as well. And she bought cake which is why we love her!
Sunday was spent with Alfie’s grandparents, including a lovely roast dinner and visit to the local garden centre. They had a brilliant Santa Train which took us through various displays of animated scenes and lit up figures as well as past Santa’s reindeer! We then had a visit from the big man himself and Alfie was given a chocolate figure.
It has been lovely festive weekend. I think you might notice a bit of a festive theme every weekend from now until the end of the year!
What did you get up to this weekend? Any Christmas activities?
