Welcome To The World: Henry Cole Jones

Just a little update to say – He’s here!  Baby Jones Number Two is finally here.

Henry Cole Jones arrived safely on Tuesday 30th January via elective caesarean at 10.55am weighing 8lb 6oz. I will do a full birth story shortly, but everything went well and we are both doing well.

Daddy is adjusting well to being a father of two, giving Mummy lots of help and support!

Alfie is already a brilliant big brother and is absolutely smitten with his new friend.

Henry is now a whole week old and it was gone so quickly! I think we’ve adjusted pretty well so far, but the cluster feeding is yet to kick in so I know that is going to be a while different ball game! I’m recovering really well from the csection. I thought I had a good recovery from my last one, but the difference between an emergency and and elective is amazing! I even put a load of washing on this morning! But I am still making sure I take it easy, the nights are harder as it’s a bit of a struggle getting in and out of bed but overall I’m feeling great.

I hope to have lots of updates for you soon about what we’re getting up to and how things are going. I’m sure there will be good times and bad times but for now we are enjoying our lovely little bubble (I would post a lovely photo of the four of us but we’re yet to take one!!)
