  1. Haha, so true!! It’s the planning for the ‘what ifs’ and explaining the routine to the baby sitter that always takes time, I find! Did you at least manage to enjoy yourself? Xxx

    • The planning takes longer than the actual date haha we did have a lovely time, we felt like husband and wife again rather than just Alfie’s parents! So I am looking forward to our next date, whenever that may be 🙂 xx

  2. I love this post, its so spot on! There is so much more you have to do before you go on a date when you have children. I read your post and couldnt help but nod along in agreement. By the end I felt exhausted myself! Saying that, it is totally worth it of course and it was great to see you both had a lovely first date night 🙂 Thanks for sharing this on #MarvMondays Emily

  3. Oh this sounds familiar!! Luckily now mine are three and five and it’s much easier to go out, but I can pretty much guarantee that they will be up in the night if we are foolish enought to stay out late! 🙂 #fartglitter
